Experience
20+ years of product and technology leadership — from building consumer products from scratch to leading enterprise engineering organizations at billion-dollar scale.
Product & Technology Executive
I am a senior product and technology executive with more than two decades of experience owning product vision, engineering execution, and data strategy as a unified function. I have built consumer-facing products from scratch, scaled enterprise platforms at billion-dollar organizations, and led engineering organizations from startup divisions to global nonprofits — with the technical depth to make real decisions and the executive presence to drive them.
My work spans multiple industries — from publicly traded entertainment companies to global faith-based nonprofits — with a consistent thread: unified ownership of product and engineering, measurable outcomes, and building organizations where teams do their best work.
That work currently sits at the intersection of product strategy and mission — at Compassion International, one of the world's largest child development nonprofits, where I own both the roadmap and the engineering execution for a billion-dollar fundraising platform ecosystem.

Senior Director, Product & Engineering
Compassion International — Colorado Springs, CO (Remote)
Owner of product vision and engineering execution for the fundraising platform ecosystem at one of the world's largest child development organizations — a billion-dollar mission running on products my teams define, build, and operate. Leading 9 Agile teams spanning marketing technology, Salesforce, and donor engagement platforms.
Currently building and managing multiple MCP servers for enterprise AI systems and deploying AI Agents (CoPilot) — hands-on AI infrastructure development alongside enterprise product strategy. Not just setting AI direction — building it.
Senior Technology Executive & Product Builder
Topgolf Entertainment Group
Led technology strategy for Topgolf's Swing Suite division — a startup operating inside a high-growth entertainment company, with full product and engineering ownership. Managed 47 technology professionals and a $15M budget supporting $300M in revenue impact.
Most significantly: I built the Topgolf Swing Suite as founder, product owner, and sole designer. I conceived the concept, created the full game experience design — including the specific game rules that define how the product functions to this day — and hired and managed the Unity engineering team that built it. I sat directly alongside those engineers through every iteration of development and testing, then flew to the first venue to personally stage and launch it. No handoffs. A product I owned from vision to market. Over 125 Swing Suite locations operate across the United States today.
The first installation — at the Four Seasons Houston — documented 3× revenue lift in the SwingSuite area. The GM of that property describes it here.
Director, Product & Engineering
Balfour & Co (formerly American Achievement Corporation)
Led product and engineering teams for one of America's leading scholastic products companies — owning the product lines for class rings, letter jackets, and yearbooks across high school and college markets. Led a turnaround of the $100M division's primary software product. A consistent pattern: unified ownership of product vision and engineering execution, this time for consumer products with real emotional stakes for their buyers.
US Patents Issued — Co-Inventor
Technology Innovation — Intuit Inc.
Named co-inventor on five issued United States patents at Intuit — spanning financial data interfaces, surface computing, automated content rating, and context-aware software systems. Not credentials on a wall: a record of solving novel product problems at their technical root. The surface computing patent (US 8,584,029) anticipated touchscreen-first financial UX years before it became standard. The automated submission rating patent (US 7,930,304) is a machine-learning product concept filed in 2011.
Software Engineer & Technology Leader
Intuit Inc.
Built foundational expertise in enterprise software engineering, product development, and technology leadership at Intuit — where sustained product innovation in financial data systems, surface computing, and software configuration yielded five issued US patents (2011–2014). Established the technical depth and product thinking that informs all subsequent leadership work.
Director of Architecture
ADP Dealer Services (now CDK Global)
Served as Director of Architecture during the development of a next-generation Dealer Management System — one of the most complex product platforms in the automotive retail industry. Designed the back-end service API standards and integration architecture that connected all major systems across the platform, and delivered architecture frameworks, technical white-papers, and hands-on proof-of-concept applications to validate strategic technology direction.
This was early service-oriented architecture — defining how distributed systems communicate before the patterns had industry names, built on Microsoft's emerging stack (VB, C#). The instinct to design clean system boundaries and integration contracts before writing a line of application code has been a constant thread ever since.
